Nicholas A. Amadori of Water Mill and Greenwich, Connecticut, died on September 11 at his Water Mill home after a long illness. He was 59.
Born in Buffalo on June 2, 1949, he came to the East End after graduating from college in 1971 and completing his Reserve Officer Training Corps assignment as the personnel officer at the Montauk Air Force Base. He was a vice president at UST Inc. in Greenwich.
In addition to his wife of 37 years, Joan Amadori, he is survived by a son, Eric Amadori and his wife Erin of New York City; a daughter, Nicole and her husband John Benedetto of New York City; and a grandson, Nicholas Benedetto.
A memorial service will be held on September 20 at noon at the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Neurological Institute of Columbia University, Brain Tumor Center, 710 West 168th Street, Room 204, New York, NY 10032 would be appreciated by the family.
