Nina Carter Rosselli Del Turco died unexpectedly on September 28, 2022. She was a resident of The McAuley Senior Living facility in West Hartford, Connecticut and the loving wife of Guiduccio Rosselli Del Turco. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 4, at 11:00 am at St. John’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford, CT. Mrs. Rosselli Del Turco was born on February 27, 1940, the daughter of Hester Braxton Carter and Paul Stuart Carter. Mrs. Rosselli Del Turco grew up in Montclair, New Jersey, attending Kimberly School in Montclair, Oldfields School in Glencoe, Maryland, and Katharine Gibbs School in Montclair. She spent her summers in Bridgehampton, New York, where she was an active member of The Bridgehampton Club, honing her tennis and golf skills. After graduating from Katharine Gibbs, then working at JP Morgan Bank in New York City, she lived with her first husband in West Hartford, Connecticut, where she was a member of St. John’s Church and The Hartford Golf Club and worked at Trinity College in the Faculty Grants Department. She married Guiduccio Rosselli Del Turco from Italy in 2001, where they lived before moving back to West Hartford, Connecticut, permanently ten years ago. She is survived by her husband Guiduccio Rosselli Del Turco, her four children, three stepchildren, and their spouses: Mrs. Laney Makin of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Mrs. Carter Adrian of East Quogue, New York, Miss Whitney Lynch of West Hartford, Connecticut, Mr. G. Philip Lynch III of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mr. William Rosselli Del Turco of Chevy Chase, MD, Mrs. Sheila L’Angiocola of Cincinnati, OH and Mrs. Lavinia Goodloe of Highlands Ranch, CO, one sister, Mrs.Toni Carter Vreeland of Bridgehampton, NY, as well as by eight wonderful grandchildren and 13 step-grandchildren who all loved their Granny-Nini. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren and a long-standing volunteer in the West Hartford community.
