Vince Camuto, who co-founded shoe company Nine West Group, died at his Greenwich home on January 21. He was 78 and the cause of death was cancer.
Mr. Camuto had owned Wooldon Manor on Gin Lane in Southampton and had purchased Villa Maria in Water Mill in 2005.
Jones Apparel Group purchased Nine West in 1999 and, after the expiration of a non-compete clause, Mr. Camuto founded his namesake line of footwear, which also licensed products for Tory Burch, Jessica Simpson, BCBG, among others.
Fred D. Knapp & Son Funeral Home in Greenwich is handling the arrangements.
