In regards to the negotiations between Southampton Town’s community housing director, Kara Bak, and the U.S. Coast Guard, we still have heard nothing. I guess we will be forced to FOIL for the information to find out exactly what Jay Schneiderman, John Bouvier, Julie Lofstad and Kara Bak have planned for Hampton West.
As town elected officials, it’s pathetic that they think they can get away with making plans for our community with no transparency. The lack of communication just further proves my point that these people don’t deserve to hold office in our town.
We want the Coast Guard housing to be sold to hard-working individuals/families who care about our neighborhood, not a community housing group headed by a person who bullies their way into our community in the dead of night and shoves a misguided plan down our throats.
