Norma Alice Zucker
Norma Alice Zucker of Water Mill died at Southampton Hospital on Monday, January 9, after a brief illness. She was 87.
Born to John and Ruth Verduin in Paterson, New Jersey, on June 17, 1924, she was a longtime resident of Water Mill where she lived with her husband Richard Zucker, who predeceased her.
She was a secretary and bookkeeper for Old Towne Animal Hospital in Southampton for 35 years. A longtime lover of animals, she gave a home to orphaned cats and dogs through the years.
She is survived by many friends that she considered family. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
