It isn’t always obvious what is killing the chickens. You are often left with only the evidence. At first, I thought it might have been domestic dogs — what they think is a squeaky-toy killing spree. Birds were here and there. From their torn bodies, trails of feathers tell of that fatal chase. Three are dead, and it is hard to know how many are missing.
