Michael Daly is obviously “wide awake” to growing concern over affordable housing [“I’m Awake,” Letters, December 23]. He is totally correct, however: The venue is most important.
He is pushing for anywhere, as long as it happens. He obviously doesn’t travel County Road 39 often, especially during the morning crunch and evening exit. The proposed site along County Road 39 is dangerous, and anyone who travels this area agrees. The accidents along this corridor are a weekly occurrence, some being fatal.
It would be wonderful if the town bought this property and created a park for the residents. Mr. Daly says he’s “awake to the water quality and environment.” Amen!
