“Picklers Unite for a Cause” thank yous [Sports & Outdoors, October 17] had one glaring omission: Kerry Calvert, one of the hardest-working players to build fun in the pickleball community on the East End, was not mentioned. She has been working side by side with Vinny Mangano for years on this cause, which is close to her heart. There is a resume of the charitable work she does, and we are lucky to have her on the courts and at the Agawam concerts and the weekly happy hours she organizes. I’m grateful to all that she does for the pickleball community.
