Southampton Village Police Officer Tiffany Lubold presented fifth-graders with certificates of completion at the DARE graduation on January 10. The essay contest winners, Lucy Tillotson and Oliver Nielsen, read their essays on the lessons learned in the program.
The winter basketball season has started at OLH, with the prep students playing in the Catholic Middle Schools Athletics Association, and the intermediate students in the Hamptons Youth Athletic League.
The days are counting down to the February 1 drawing of the Bucks for Books raffle, which will be held at the Catholic Schools Week parents’ cocktail party at Union Cantina on February 1. The 800 remaining tickets are available in the school office. Call 631-283-9140.
Catholic Schools Week will be observed beginning on January 26 with the family Pancake Breakfast and Open House. The community is invited to participate and visit the school for any of the special events planned.
