Bishop Emeritus William Murphy was joined by Fathers Mike Vetrano, Janusz Lipski, Steven Maddaloni, Peter DeSanctis, Jesus Arellana and John Wachowicz at the dedication of the newly constructed playground at the school.

Southampton Mayor Jesse Warren, diocesan superintendent Kathleen Walsh and representatives of all the major trades that worked on the project were on hand for the prayers of thanksgiving.

An early autumn golf outing to benefit the school will be held at South Fork Country Club in Amagansett on Thursday, October 3. Reservations are now being accepted for foursomes and individual golfers. Call the school for details.

The school community will hold its annual Blessing of the Animals on Friday, October 3, at 1 p.m. Call the school to make a reservation,631-283-9140.
