I joined a group of walkers called “Bridge Walkers.” We walk over the Ponquogue Bridge at 9 every Friday morning and sometimes Wednesday and Sunday.
It’s good exercise and it’s invigorating, especially at the top on cold, windy days.
We walk rain or shine, wind or snow. We pause along the walk and do a plank, jumping jacks, squats and push-ups.
The scenery at the top, Shinnecock Bay and Warner Island, is beautiful.
