A Bridgehampton house fire in the early morning hours of September 6 brought first responders out in force to extinguish the blaze at a Surfside Drive residence.
Fire departments from Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Hampton Bays, Southampton and East Hampton all responded to reports of a structure fire that broke out just after 1 a.m.
The home was not occupied at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, according to a statement from Southampton Town Police Sergeant Gina Laferrera.
The cause of the fire is unknown and an investigation by Southampton Town fire marshals is ongoing.
