Patricia Ann O'Boyle Of Hampton Bays Dies January 10

Patricia Ann O’Boyle of Hampton Bays died on January 10, 2019. She was 82.

Born in Brooklyn on May 19, 1936, she grew up an avid Dodgers fan. She attended Hunter College, earning a degree in teaching, and then worked as a history teacher at Far Rockaway High School for 10 years.

She married Joseph Gerald O’Boyle in March 1969. Having summered in East Quogue since 1973, the couple retired to Hampton Bays in 2003. Mr. O’Boyle died in 2010.

Ms. O’Boyle was a volunteer at the Church of St. Rosalie food pantry. She was known for her kindness, survivors said.

She is survived by her sons, John and Michael; her daughters-in-law, Jenn and Liz; and her grandsons, Jake, Joseph, Ryan, Jack, Thomas, Sean, Luke and Will.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the R.J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. Visiting was on January 14, and a funeral Mass took place on January 15, at St. Rosalie’s. Burial followed in Calverton National Cemetery.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor.
