Patricia Jagger dies at 72

Patricia Jagger

Patricia Jagger of Westhampton died at Peconic Bay Medical Center on August 30. She was 72.

Born in Brooklyn on February 8, 1938, she was a secretary for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Marshall Jagger of Westhampton Beach; a son, Edward Barrett of Speonk; a daughter, Teresa Barrett of Rockville Centre; and a host of grandchildren.

The family received visitors on September 1 at Follett & Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. Funeral services were also held on September 1, with the Reverend John Roy, pastor of the Westhampton United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation was private; interment of ashes will follow at Westhampton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, PO Box 901, Wainscott, NY 11975 would be appreciated by the family.

Our Sag Harbor park tennis courts are under siege. There are eight clay courts and two hard courts.
