Patricia M. Robbins, originally from Westhampton Beach, died on October 20, 2016. She was 69.
Born at Southampton Hospital on January 28, 1947, to Clarice and Austin Robbins, she graduated from Westhampton Beach High School in 1964. After graduation she moved to New York City to attend Mount St. Vincent’s College, where she studied business administration. She later secured employment at United Presbyterian Church in New York. After a few years the church relocated her to Louisville, Kentucky, where she lived and worked for about two years. She then moved to San Diego, California, where she was employed as an administrative assistant at an elementary school.
Ms. Robbins later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where she was employed at Buckhead Coalition as an office manager to the former mayor of Atlanta, Sam Massell. She retired from that position on April 30, 2015, after 15 years of service, and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida.
Ms. Robbins is survived by her mother, Clarice Robbins of Quogue; a sister, Sharon Eckart of Quogue; nephew and godson, Christian Eckart; niece, Krista Eckart; and great-nephew, Jackson Eckart, all of Hampton Bays. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Follett & Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach.
