Patricia Murphy Lowd Dies March 15

Patricia Murphy Lowd died on March 15, 2018, with her husband of 63 years, L. Wesley Lowd, and her three children, Jeffrey, Christopher (Mija), and Jonathan (Catherine), at her side.

Mrs. Lowd did her undergraduate work at State University of New York at Fredonia before earning a master’s degree from Drexel University in library science. She was a school Librarian in the Shaker Heights Ohio School System for many years.

In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her grandchildren, Courtney and Christian.

A Mass on Sunday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Quiogue will be dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Lowd.

Memorial donations may be made to East End Hospice, Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978-7048.
