Patricia O'Day Of Remsenburg Dies October 26

Patricia O’Day of Remsenburg died at the Good Shepherd Hospice Facility on October 26. She was 78.

Ms. O’Day had a long and distinguished career in marketing and advertising in New York City. She was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, an active member of the Westhampton Mallet Club, the Ladies Golf League in Calverton and the Remsenburg Garden Club.

A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 5, at St. Leo’s Roman Catholic Church in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Interment followed at Forsyth Memorial Gardens Winston Salem.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of May 8

Gintaras Satas, 58, of Mastic was arrested at about 11:30 p.m. on May 2 and charged with misdemeanor DWI and several vehicle and traffic violations after the vehicle he was driving nearly struck a Southampton Town Police car that was on the side of Montauk Highway in Water Mill with its lights on conducting a traffic stop of another vehicle. When approached by the officer, Satas was found to be unsteady on his feet and a breath alcohol test indicated he had been drinking more than the legal limit, according to police. by Staff Writer

Renny Lopez-Bermeo, 27, of East Hampton was arrested by Southampton Town Police at about 7 p.m. on April 27 and charged with felony DWI after he was pulled over for driving erratically on Lynncliff Road near Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays.
