Patrick Michael Keane Of North Sea Dies November 11

Patrick Michael Keane of North Sead died at home on November 11, while under hospice care. He was 51.

He is survived by two brothers, Jonathan Keane and Thomas Keane; a sister, Peggy Mott Helstowski; his mother, Patricia Abbey; and a stepbrother, Toney Abbey.

A funeral service took place on November 13 at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Southampton, where he was buried alongside in father, Jeremiah Keane. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton.

Hampton Bays School District residents will be asked to vote for a $67,495,698 budget for the 2025-26 school year on Tuesday, May 20. Eastport-South Manor School District voters will decide on a tax-cap compliant budget on Tuesday, May 20, and also cast votes in the Board of Education race, in which three incumbents are running unopposed.
