Paula Ann Berdinka Jeffries Of Westhampton Dies March 20

Paula Ann Berdinka Jeffries died on March 20 at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care on Quiogue, surrounded by her family. She was 69.

Born on October 22, 1948, to Joan and Frank Berdinka, she grew up in Westhampton, attended Sacred Heart School in Southampton and then Westhampton Beach schools. She made her sacraments at Immaculate Conception Church on Quiogue and was also a member of the Legion of Mary.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Rita; and her brother, Martin. She is survived by her son, Christopher (Heather); four grandchildren; her brothers, Michael (Susan) and Peter; her sisters, Susan Elliston (David) and Maria Raffel (James); and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Werner Rothwell Funeral Home in in Westhampton Beach. A funeral Mass took place at Immaculate Conception Church on March 24, followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cutchogue.

Memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or East End Hospice.
