Members of the Sag Harbor American Legion Auxiliary will be selling handmade poppies along the Memorial Day parade route. Each year the American Legion Auxiliary offers the memorial poppies made by disabled veterans. Local TV Inc., known colloquially as LTV, was awarded a grant totaling $99,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts to support a capital project, which focuses on a much-needed roof repair. This grant is part of a capital project funding announcement by NYSCA, which totals over $86 million to 134 capital projects across New York State.
