Police raided an East Quogue home early on Thursday morning and arrested a resident there on drug and weapons possession charges.
Southampton Town Police said that they arrested Miles Zamora, 26, shortly after 6 a.m. on Thursday following a monthslong investigation by the East End Drug Task Force.
The raid uncovered a significant quantity of drugs and an illegal weapon, though police have not quantified the amount or type of drugs discovered.
Zamora was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with the intent to sell and one count each of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and tampering with evidence with the intent to conceal or destroy, all felonies. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
Police said that Zamora had sold cocaine to an undercover police officer in October, sparking the investigation that ended with Thursday morning’s raid on his residence.
