Varun Dubey, 32, of Southampton was pulled over on County Road 39A just before 3 a.m. on May 8 for traffic infractions and subsequently charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, Southampton Village Police reported. Police said when he was interviewed his breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage, his speech was slurred, his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and he had vomited on himself.
