Police Seek Public's Help in Locating Stolen Car

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a stolen car and the thief or thieves who took it. Southampton Town Police and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers have alerted the public to the theft of a black 2018 Mazda CX5 from a residential parking lot on Lamplight Circle in Hampton Bays.

Left unlocked with the keys inside, the sedan was parked overnight at the Town and Country Luxury Apartments complex. The time of the theft was narrowed to between 9 p.m. on November 11 and 5:30 p.m. on November 12.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Submit an anonymous tip to the agency by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting SCPD and your message to CRIMES or emailing p3tips.com. All calls, emails, and texts are kept confidential, police said.
