A cash reward is being offered by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to anyone with information about the theft of several works of art from a storage unit in Southampton Village this spring.
At least 14 framed paintings and drawings were taken from a storage unit at Life Storage on Mariner Drive in Southampton sometime between January 26 and May 29.
The artwork is valued at about $17,700.
Southampton Town Police and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers put out an appeal this week to the public for help in figuring out who took the artwork.
A reward will be paid to anyone who brings police information that leads to an arrest, police said. Tips can be left anonymously by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or through the online portal at P3Tips.com.
