I have found all of the negativity directed toward Southampton Village Mayor Jesse Warren in The Southampton Press to be totally unacceptable, as we need to be united during this difficult time.
I have also noticed, in a recent letter to the editor, that apparently a cartoon of our mayor has been widely distributed in our community, and yet it has not been reported on, with an illustration, in The Press. Why is this?
Furthermore, I was saddened to see that our four previous mayors have endorsed two candidates for village trustee, when there have not yet been any debates (even in Zoom format) between those who are running, which also was not pointed out by The Press. How is this fair?
If The Southampton Press truly wishes to be an honest and balanced paper of record, major changes need to be made in the way our local politics is covered.

Thank you for the clear and sane analysis of Lee Zeldin’s insane case for overturning an election that was not only more scrutinized, more tested, and more inclusive than any other, but was also a resounding defeat of Trump [“Analysis:...

Beauty Of Democracy
