Power Squadron Offers Weather Seminar

The Peconic Bay Power Squadron is holding a Basic Weather and Forecasting seminar on Saturday, October 15, at 1 p.m. at West Marine in Riverhead. The class is a must for boaters who have never taken a weather course or as a refresher for those with some weather knowledge. Air masses and fronts, winds, storms, clouds and thunderstorms, fog and forecasting will be discussed.

West Marine is located at 1089 Old Country Road in Riverhead and there is a $45 fee, which includes a waterproof quick guide and student guide. To learn more and to reserve a seat, call (631) 298-1930 or visit PBPS.us.
