Challenger Greg Doroski, running on the Democratic and Working Families lines, has defeated incumbent Catherine Stark, who was on the Republican and Conservative lines, for Suffolk County Legislature in the 1st District. Doroski received 11,219 votes, or 52 percent of ballots cast, to Stark’s 10,311, or 48 percent, according to unofficial results from the Suffolk County Board of Elections.
