Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of June 1

David Lopez, 38, of Hampton Bays was arrested on May 24 after a road rage incident in the parking lot of Southampton Village Police headquarters. According to the police report, Lopez got out of his car and threw an axle through the back window of the other driver’s car. His breath smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage, his speech was slurred, and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, according to the Village Police report.
