The first, on Saturday, March 8, from 3 to 4 p.m., will offer “Common Sense Landscape Tips,” including correct tree and shrub planting, preventing deer browsing and managing water, among other topics. ⋅
“Plants You Have (Likely) Never Heard Of” is up next on April 5, from 11 a.m. to noon, and will focus on overlooked, under-appreciated, or unknown trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and vines that thrive on Long Island.
May 3 brings “Pollinator Garden and Wildlife Landscapes” from 3 to 4 p.m. The presentation will focus on creating and encouraging gardens and landscapes which serve pollinators, birds, and other Long Island wildlife.
