The Quogue Library’s Great Give Back Celebration is set for Saturday, October 12, from noon to 2 p.m.
The Great Give Back is a community service initiative created by the Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, in conjunction with the Nassau Library System. The mission of the program is to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of the public libraries of New York State to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences. The library will hold donation drives, offer live music with Jimmy Conlin, refreshments, and activities with the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and a meet-and-greet with adoptable rescue animals from the Southampton Animal Shelter.
As part of the initiative, the library is collecting donations to benefit the Southampton Animal Shelter and the Quogue Wildlife Refuge through October 19.Visit quoguelibrary.org to view a full list of items accepted for donation.
