Congratulations to our local radio hosts Gary Sapiane and Bill Evans of radio station WLNG. They have just been inducted into the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
I only can say that it’s about time they were recognized. I’ve let them into my home for decades and decades.
Having gone through several hurricanes, major snowstorms or other life-changing events since 1963, they have been our lifeline.
I also love winning the giveaways. Their new DJs and format have changed their sound, yet remained the same. “Lunch on the Deck” with Jessica Ambrose and Bill Evans is very entertaining, and the energy of DJs Mandi and Dan Moore pour out of my speakers.
