Raymond G. Wouters
Raymond G. Wouters of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Southampton and Aquebogue died of bone cancer on Monday, January 2. He was 53.
Mr. Wouters was born at Southampton Hospital and raised in Riverhead. His family later moved to Southampton where he then attended Southampton schools. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Upon his discharge, he moved to Ohio and married and had two sons. Twenty years ago, he moved to Florida and met the love of his life, Terry. She was by his side through his battle.
Mr. Wouters is survived by his wife of 10 years, Terry; his stepmother, Gertrude Wouters of Southampton; two sons, Raymond Jr. and Randy Wouters of Ohio; siblings, Sheila Danforth and her husband Stephen of Oklahoma, Maureen Madigan and her husband Michael of Riverhead, Patricia Day and her husband Robert of Ogdensburg, stepsister, Christine Hilbert of Southampton; and two brothers, Timothy Wouters and his wife Phyliss of Oklahoma, and Dennis Wouters and his wife Christa of Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepbrother, Jack Hilbert of North Carolina.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Atlantic Mortuary and Crematorium in Rockledge, Florida.
