Ready To Serve

I am writing this letter to ask all registered voters in Southampton Town, regardless of political affiliation, for your support, and your vote, in my race for Southampton Town justice.

I have been working hard since I began my race earlier this year to meet voters at every possible opportunity. I have enjoyed meeting so many of the incredible people who live in each area of Southampton Town.

I want to tell you more about me as a person and as a candidate.

I moved to Sag Harbor in 1974 with my parents and brother when I was 9 years old. I graduated from Pierson High School in 1983. Thereafter, I went to Dowling College in Oakdale, from which I graduated in 1987. I then went to Pace University School of Law in White Plains, graduating in 1991.

I thereafter began my career as an attorney. I had always wanted to move back to Southampton Town after graduating law school. I have been an attorney for 28 years. My law practice, which is a general practice, is located at 120 Court Street, Riverhead, and I have owned my home in Hampton Bays for 20 years.

Between 1998 and 1999, I served as Riverhead Town attorney. I have been serving as a member since 2002, as vice chairperson between 2010 to 2016, and as chairperson since 2017 of the Southampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals. Anyone who wants to see how I handle myself as a public official can watch any ZBA meeting going back many years on the Southampton Town website. I believe I have served in this role as a fair and impartial ZBA chairperson.

I believe in government service, and in giving back to my community. I have been observing regularly in Justice Court. I will be ready for the job on day one if I have the honor of being elected Southampton Town justice.

I have the endorsement of Assemblyman Fred Thiele. I have been found qualified as a candidate by the Judicial Screening Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association.

I would like to expand my 18 years of service in the Town of Southampton on the ZBA as a fair and impartial Southampton Town justice.

Please vote for me in early voting, which begins on October 23, absentee voting, or by voting for me on Election Day, which is November 2. I will be on the ballot on the Democratic line (Row A) and the Clean Water Party line.

If you’d like to know more about my campaign, or if you’d like to support my campaign as a volunteer, please visit my campaign website, adamgrossmanforsouthamptontownjustice.org.
