It’s not very often these days that people of exceptional character are willing to step up to the plate and volunteer to serve on our Village Board. We are very fortunate that Peter Boody and Max Rohn have decided to run for election on June 17.
I have known Peter for over 30 years. He has tremendous knowledge of the workings of our village government as a reporter and editor of The Southampton Press. He has brought incredible knowledge and insight to our Village Board during his first term as trustee.
I have known Max Rohn for the past several years and served with him on our Park Board. He is the CEO of Wölffer Vineyards and he will bring his broad and sizable financial experience to our government.
Max and Peter will add a refreshing harmony to our Village Board.
Please vote for Peter Boody and Max Rohn on June 17 and help North Haven move forward in a positive direction.

In following The Press’s continuing coverage of the Shinnecock, there seems to be a trend wherein the newspaper has become an apologist for the tribe. According to your recent stories, they are always, seemingly, fighting against the inhumanities perpetrated by...
Charlie McArdle has done good work on traffic. If he has any time left, he should remove the Robin Brown signs now scattered across Southampton Town public right of ways. Best of luck to his team in the Working Families...
I am very glad The Southampton Press held Friday’s debate and gave the public an opportunity to learn more about the candidates in the upcoming village election. I came away reminded again of the competence, commitment and energy of Mayor...
