Dorothy Burleson Cowles died January 7, 2020, at her home in The Bay Club, at the Cypress, on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She was 91. Born on December 7, 1928, in San Jose California, to Ethel Landstrom Burleson and Alfred Manning Burleson, she attended San Jose State University and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She married Carroll “Cal” Jackson Cowles on December 18, 1948. They moved around the country because of job-related transfers with his career at Parke Davis & Co. and Warner Lambert. Anthony V. DeBiasi of Sag Harbor died on January 17, 2020, in Southampton. He was 79. Born April 5, 1940, in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Paul and Nancy (Greco) DeBiasi. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from City College of New York, and went into sales and owned a business. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
