Teeny Awards To Be Presented on June 8

East End Arts & Humanities Council, Inc. will present its 23rd annual Teeny Awards on Sunday, June 8, at 3 p.m. at Greenport High School, A red carpet event starts at 1 p.m. The 2025 Teeny Awards ceremony, hosted by WLIW’s Gianna Volpe and produced by Kasia Klimiuk, will feature performances by over 100 high school theater students, while presenters consisting of leaders in theater, as well as the local community, present a variety of awards for the 2024/25 high school theater season. Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays will be setting for the 22nd annual Battle of the Bands on Friday, June 6. Give local high school bands will compete for prizes in the event, which begins at 8 p.m. Gates oppen at 7 p.m. with guest performers. Air Force Major General Michael Bank, the commander of the New York Air National Guard, has announced the recent promotion of members of the New York Air National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
