Rex Conniff
Former Southampton resident Rex Conniff died in Denver, Colorado, on January 10, following a long illness. He was 54.
Mr. Conniff, the son of newspaperman Frank Conniff and Elizabeth Murray, attended Southampton High School, graduating in 1976. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army for seven years and then worked for many years for the Billy Graham Evangelical Association.
He is survived by his three brothers, Michael Conniff, Tony Conniff and Frank Conniff; a sister, Lucy Conniff; two nephews, Asher Conniff and Max Conniff; and a niece, Emma Conniff. He was a great-grandson of Thomas E. Murray, the noted inventor.
