Richard Darling Dies At 58

Richard A. Darling

Richard Allen Darling of San Francisco, formerly of Westhampton Beach, died on Tuesday, March 6. He was 58.

For more than 20 years he was an auto body specialist in California.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Darling, known as Ms. D the hot dog lady, of Westhampton Beach; siblings, Warren Lee Darling and his wife Kathy of Illinois, Belinda Nakamura and her husband Deon of Riverhead, Barry Darling of Patchogue, Eric Darling of East Quogue, and Lori Darling of Westhampton Beach; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Warren Darling and a brother, Robert L. Darling.

Visitation will take place at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home on Friday, March 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. The Reverend George Mangan of the Hampton Bays United Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service at 4 p.m.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
