Richard McCoy
Richard McCoy of East Quogue died at his home on September 23 after a battle with cancer. He was 58.
Mr. McCoy was a manager for King Kullen supermarket, working in many of the local stores, most recently in St. James.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (née Nagorski); his mother, Veronica (née Barry) of Richfield Springs; a son, Arthur Surrey and his wife Amy of Mastic Beach; two daughters, Kary Raynor and her husband Kenny of East Quogue, and Maria Cutolo, also of East Quogue; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by six siblings, Thomas McCoy of Vestal, John McCoy and his wife Susan of New Jersey, James McCoy and his wife Robin of Levittown, Theresa McCoy of New Jersey, Patricia Allen and her husband Edward of Richfield Springs and Jane McCoy Murphy of Cooperstown. He is predeceased by his father, Frank McCoy; and a sister, Kathleen Pfaeffle.
Visiting hours were held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on September 25 and 26. A funeral Mass was celebrated on September 27 at the Church of St. Rosalie in Hampton Bays; interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery in East Quogue.
