The annual Ride & Wine event to benefit i-tri is set for Saturday, October 5. The ride will start at 10:30 a.m. at Scoville Hall in Amagansett with two routes planned: 34 miles and 13 miles. Both will end at Scoville with a lunch and wine tasting afterward.
The Amagansett start and finish are a change from the past events, which were held in Bridgehampton. The 34-mile ride will travel to the Montauk Lighthouse and back, and the 13-mile route will go through Amagansett’s Promised Land to Gardiners Bay and back. Upon completing the rides, participants may partake of a catered lunch by Damarks Market and a self-guided wine tasting.
“This year’s event will unveil brand-new routes and a new setting for lunch and wine tasting. Whether you join in for the ride or opt for the delightful lunch and wine portion, your participation will help us provide our 2025 participants with the training, equipment, and support they need to reach the finish line and soar beyond,” noted Theresa Roden, i-tri’s visionary chief officer, in a press release.
The event is also open to noncyclists for lunch and the wine tasting.
In addition to the cycling and wine-tasting activities, the Ride & Wine event serves as the launch for i-tri’s most important fundraising campaign, Giving Day, which is scheduled for Thursday, October 24. With generous contributions and dedicated support, i-tri aims to continue its mission of nurturing confidence, resilience, and empowerment in young girls, guiding them toward unlocking their boundless potential.
