Rita M. Kuhn of Hampton Bays died at her home on January 30. She was 93.
A resident of Hampton Bays for more than 46 years, she had lived in Levittown and was a registered nurse for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Old Towne Lodge #908 of Southampton.
Ms. Kuhn is survived by her husband of 71 years, John “Jack” C. Kuhn Jr.; three children, John C. Kuhn III and wife Cheryl of Speonk, Susan McCabe and husband Thomas of Montauk, and Nancy Coughlin and husband David of Hawthorne; grandchildren, Joseph Vish, Jennifer Palmer, Corrine Vish, Kathryn Ballerini, Sarah Coughlin, Jaclyn Harding-Kuhn and Aimee Ré; and a sister, Rose Kuhn and husband Richard of Hampton Bays. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. Pastor Rick Boyer of the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton officiated at a funeral service on February 2.
