Robert ‘Bob’ Otto Weber Of Bethpage, Formerly Of Southampton, Dies July 23

Robert “Bob” Otto Weber of Bethpage, and formerly of Southampton, died on July 23 at his home. He was 78.

Mr. Weber was born in Brooklyn, to parents Otto and Ethel Weber on September 7, 1941. He attended John Adams High School and enlisted in the Armed Forces, in which he proudly served for two years before his honorable discharge.

Mr. Weber worked as a truck driver for many years in the cement industry. After retirement, he spent his time as a private passenger driver. He spent much of his time outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing golf. In his leisure, he could be found watching his beloved Mets and Giants, his family recalled.

He is survived by his sister Dolores Weber; his brother Richard Weber; two daughters, Jennifer Carter and husband Chris and Cristina Pilinko and husband Tim; five granddaughters, Ella, Lainn, Quinn, Remington and Sawyer. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Ruth Santucci.

A burial service will be held at Southampton Cemetery on Thursday, July 30, at 11 a.m.
