Robert L. Knotoff Of Remsenburg Dies July 4

Robert L. Knotoff of Remsenburg died on July 4 at Peconic Bay Medical Center following a long illness. He was 82.

Mr. Knotoff was born January 5, 1938 to Lillian and William Knotoff. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Knotoff owned Hampton Stationary in Westhampton Beach and McCabes in Riverhead. He was a member of Westhampton Rotary, Beach United Methodist Church, the Westhampton and Riverhead chambers of Commrece, and the Remsenburg Association. He was on the board of Central Suffolk Hospital.

He is survived by his wife Nancy (Eggert) Knotoff for 60 years; his daughter Nancy Lynn; son Robert and his wife Jaisel; grandchildren Cassandra, Ryan, and Dale.

He is also survived by his brothers Richard and Leonard; and many nieces and nephews.

He was interred at Southampton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Westhampton Fire Department, Beach United Methodist Church in Westhampton Beach, the Westhampton Rotary Club, and Cure for Epilepsy Research.
