Ronald A. Pryce of Sag Harbor died on July 10 at Southampton Hospital. He was 79.

Born December 27, 1929, in New York City to Clifford A. Pryce and Celestine (née Donaldson) Pryce, he lived in Freeport and was a seasonal resident for 30 years before moving permanently to Sag Harbor.

He attended Andrew Jackson High School and served from 1948 to 1950 in the Air Force during the beginning of the Korean war. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio State University in 1956.

He was an advertising executive and was involved with the East End Artists Alliance and many other art leagues in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Clifford Pryce and Josh H. Pryce.

He is survived by his wife, Marian (née Ford) Pryce; a son, Ross A. Pryce of Springfield Gardens; a daughter, Courtney Pryce and husband, Craig Hudson, of Laurelton; and three grandchildren, Khalil, Chase, and Cameron.

He is also survived by two sisters, Carole Pryce of Brooklyn, and Marilyn Pryce-Grant and her husband Craig Grant of Brooklyn; a brother, Stephen Pryce of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Shirley (née Ford) Garrett of Sag Harbor; and a brother-in-law, Theodore Ford of Jamaica, New York; six nieces and nephews; and eight grandnieces and nephews.

Funeral services were scheduled for today, Thursday, July 16, at noon, at the Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor.

In lieu of flowers, donations to East End Hospice, 481 Westhampton-Riverhead Road, P.O. Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978-7048, and the Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance Company, 16 Columbia Street, P.O. Box 2725, Sag Harbor, NY 11963 would be appreciated by the family.
