Former East Quogue resident Roseann Bonner Gregory of California died on Sunday, November 9, following an 18-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 52.

On November 29, 1956, Mrs. Gregory was one of nine children born to Rose and John Bonner Sr. in Brooklyn.

According to loved ones, she had an incredible faith in God and the disease could not take away her dignity, self-respect or sense of humor.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by her husband, Steve; a daughter, Anya; her mother, Rose; three sisters, Margaret Gouldsberry of Arizona, Regina Culver of Westhampton, and Mary Melber of Florida; five brothers, John, James and Fred of East Quogue, Anthony of Westhampton, and Matthew of Norwich, New York; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, John Bonner Sr.

Services were private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Anya Gregory College Fund, 2070 Alegria Place, Escondido, California 92026 or Elizabeth Hospice, 150 West Crest Street, Escondido, California 92025 would be appreciated by the family.
