Rosemary Schofield Of Hampton Bays Dies December 21

Rosemary Schofield of Hampton Bays died on December 21, 2016. She was 85.

She was the daughter of the late John Joseph Loetscher and Meta Hoffenagle.

Ms. Schofield was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Schofield Sr. She is survived by two sons, Ralph Schofield and wife Pamela, and Ronald Schofield; siblings, Robert Loetscher and wife Bonnie, Rita Resling, Janet Weggeland and husband Duane, and Richard Loetscher and wife Sue; 19 grandchildren and great-granchildren combined; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation was held at Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on December 27 and a graveside service at Good Ground Cemetery on December 28.

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
