The organizers of Palm Tree plan to use 65 school buses to shuttle thousands of concert attendees between the festival grounds on the Shinnecock Territory powwow field to the Southampton LIRR station and to pick-up spots at the Stony Brook University Southampton campus.

There will be parking both on the Shinnecock Territory and at the Stony Brook University Southampton campus, which will also be the meeting point for shuttles from New York City and Montauk and for ride-share drop-offs and pickups.

Lance Gumbs, vice chairman of the Shinnecock Council of Trustees, said that the organizers of the Palm Tree Festival will have 200 private security guards and 100 New York State Police troopers in place to marshal order at the festival and 65 shuttle buses to carry the more than 10,000 concert goers expected to attend to trains and off-site parking lots.
