Ryan James Murphy Of Hampton Bays Dies May 11

Ryan James Murphy, 23, of Hampton Bays died in his home on May 11, 2019.

Born on August 10, 1995, in Southampton, he attended Hampton Bays schools and graduated from Hampton Bays High School in 2013. In high school he played on the football team.

Mr. Murphy had an adventurous spirit and a huge and loving heart, survivors said. He enjoyed surfing, skateboarding, and time spent with his siblings, friends, and family.

His smile was infectious and his magnetic personality left a lasting impression.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Colleen and Sean Murphy; his siblings, Sean and Erin; his grandparents, Jean Mulvey-Blenk and Louis Ardito; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Gary and Patricia Murphy.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Scott Rothwell Funeral Home in Hampton Bays, where friends and family may call on Thursday, May 16, from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of St. Rosalie in Hampton Bays at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 17.

Phillip G. Mannino of Bridgehampton died on December 13. He was 87. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December18, from 5-9 p.m. at Scott-Rothwell Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 19, at 11 a.m. at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Bridgehampton, with a reception at the church to follow.
