The members of the Sag Harbor Educators Drama Department (SHEDD) put on another performance at Morning Program. School Counselor Michelle Grant read the book, “I Want Your Moo: A Story for Children About Self-Esteem” written by Marcella Bakur Weiner and Jill Neimark and illustrated by Joann Adinolfi, as faculty members acted out the story. This is a silly and funny lesson in self-acceptance and self-esteem that reminds us to be who we are and not try to be someone else.

The third grade classes will make their performing arts presentation at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, June 9.

Registration continues for students entering pre-K (children who turn 4 by December 1, 2014) and kindergarten (children who turn 5 by December 1, 2014) this coming September. Registration forms can be obtained at the school’s website, www.sagharborschools.org, and brought to Kristen Doerr at Pierson.

Kindergarten visitation day, for entering 2014-15 kindergartners, will take place on Friday, June 6. Children will have an opportunity to become acquainted with their new school, visit a classroom, play on the playground, and sing some songs. This year’s kindergartners will be dismissed at 11 a.m. on that day.
