Matthew R. Chaifetz, 38, of Manhattan was arrested on June 25 at 1:07 a.m. and charged with two counts of DWI, a misdemeanor. According to Village Police, they observed Mr. Chaifetz driving southbound on Main Street in Sag Harbor, crossing the double yellow lines into northbound traffic. Police said he appeared intoxicated and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Mr. Chaiftez was held for morning arraignment, at which time he was released on his own recognizance to return to justice court at a later date. QUOGUE — Quogue Village Police arrested Elliot Albert, 28, of New York City, on Saturday morning, June 20, on Dune Road and charged him with a misdemeanor count of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said they were called to the Dune Road home, alerted to a suspicious person on the home’s deck. There they found Mr. Albert in what they described as an inebriated state. Oscar Gutierrez-Castro, 41, of Mastic, was arrested by Quogue Village Police on June 17 just before 3 a.m. on County Road 104 and charged with misdemeanor DWI and felony first degree aggravated unlicensed driving.
